This must be the Biden-Harris administration’s politicized attempt to appear to be “even-handed.”

OTOH, it seems to just be more crass pandering to a voting group whose “leaders” have threatened to withhold their votes from Biden (and who openly cheer on our adversaries).

Perhaps nobody there wants to understand the not-so-subtle difference between fear and hatred.

Then again, these are the same folks who call their wildly budget-busting deficit-laden legislation the “Inflation Reduction Act.”

They tell us that our Southern border is “secure,” despite hundreds, if not thousands, of potential enemy agents being permitted to enter the U.S.

They apparently think that rising violent crime in cities is not a problem as long as they have their own taxpayer-funded security.

Now, let’s look at the words, and consider their meanings.

Antisemitism is hatred.

The “phobia” part of Islamophobia is fear.

Most of us, Americans in general, don’t fear Jews or Israel-based attacks on our nation.

Many of us, Americans in general, do hold some fearful feelings about another 9/11, or another 1993-type World Trade Center bombing, or 1983-style bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut, or another incident like the lethal attack on the USS Cole in 2000.

What conclusions would a thinking person draw from these facts?

We could go on, but prefer not to belabor the obvious.  If you don’t get it, it can only be an example of willful ignorance.
