First, the bad news: 45 Democratic Senators have somehow bamboozled themselves into opposing legislation to protect women athletes from having to compete (and share locker rooms, bathrooms, and even bedrooms when on tour) with intact males (laboring under the delusion that they are girls).

It’s incredible that these 45 senators are engaging in lemming-like behavior and jumping headlong over another political cliff.

WTF are you people thinking? Don’t you have daughters? Granddaughters? Family friends with daughters in athletic competition?
How many of you were NOT just elected to another 6-year term? Are you lost in some fantasy that your constituents support your opposition to protecting young women?
Selecting just the most laughable “argument” for opposing this common-sense bill, it’s the idea that the federal government has no role to play in school sports, that it should be left to the States. Duh! Ever hear of Title IX?
