Who would have predicted that John Fetterman would turn out to be the voice of reason for the Democratic Party?
For his insightful and timely advice, the good Senator is awarded the distinguished Molière Celebration.
“Democrats just can’t stop losing our minds every fifteen minutes. We really need to pace ourselves, or, you know, FFS [for f—‘s sake], just grab a grip,” he was quoted in an interview with the NYT.
Perhaps there’s some value in the relatively short time Senator Fetterman has served in the Senate, and perhaps he still has resisted falling victim to the DC-think of career politicians.
We’re going to resist the temptation to speculate on his motivations or whether he has indeed broken ranks with the leadership (who are spending these important days pointing fingers at each other while denying that they failed in any way in the recent elections).
FWIW, if Fetterman’s non-traditional sartorial expression is indicative of a “common person” attitude, we say “Go for it!”
With respect and admiration, the Molière Celebrations team is delighted to award this prestigious recognition to Senator John Fetterman of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!
