This is rich — just a couple of weeks before the election, Democrat Senators up for re-election abandon VP Harris in favor of tying their political fortunes to Donald Trump, thereby earning a Molière Citation for craven self-interest.

There is too much irony and humor to comment on all of it, but a few trenchant observations might go like this:

DemocRATS deserting a sinking ship.

Polls may lie, but the behavior of “pols” is rooted in objective truth.

Just use your favorite search engine to look for “news” on Tammy Baldwin Ad or Bob Casey Ad or Elyssa Slotkin Ad, and you can see that the panic has taken hold among those who don’t want to sink with the Harris campaign ship.

It’s no surprise that there’s no response from the Harris spokespersons on this recognition of the dynamics in these swing States.
