Molière Citation to both the slobs and the restaurant owners.
Inclusivity has prevailed over exclusivity.
In the immortal (though perhaps apocryphal) words of Yogi Berra, “That restaurant is so crowded that nobody goes there anymore!”
Who wants to make heroic efforts to get a reservation and take a significant other out for a lovely dinner, only to be seated next to some rude oaf at the next table?
Not us!
The restaurant owners are either complicit or willing victims of this atrocious behavior, making them equal recipients with the slobs for the Molière Citation.
The Molière team wishes to offer a celebratory memorial to the late, great Tony Soprano, for his timely intervention some years ago, when he protected Artie Buocco’s Nuovo Vesuvio Restaurant from an early invasion of a young barbarian.
We invite your attention to this YouTube replay, and hope that the return to dignity and class in NYC establishments may start in Little Italy.
