Dr. Jill Biden Can’t Have It Both Ways

Dr. Jill Biden Can’t Have It Both Ways

An  update to our original post from July  2024, with the Nov 5 election results in and Kamala Harris mysteriously replaced ailing Joe Biden for the Democratic nominee, election results prove the Democrats lost.

Kamala Harris’ allies blame Joe Biden for her defeat to Donald Trump, yet we wanted target that blame where it belongs, “Gaslighter-in-Chief” Jill Biden.

Although she’s not mentioned by name, the single person who had the greatest responsibility for this mess is “Dr.” Jill Biden.

She should have been sanctioned for elder abuse and Adult Protective Services should have intervened to rescue Joe from her clutches.

We’re still trying to figure out which planet Jill Biden calls home.

On one hand, she blames the campaign staff for Joe’s disastrous debate performance.

On the other, she congratulates him for doing such a great job.

Maybe there are actually 2 First Ladies:

Is she Dr. Jill the supportive helpmate, or Mrs. Hyde, the censorious harpie.

Check out these diametrically opposed positions:

“Members of Joe Biden’s family privately trashed his top campaign advisers at Camp David this weekend, blaming them for the president’s flop in Thursday’s debate and urging Biden to fire or demote people in his political high command.”

” After the debate, Jill Biden walked on stage to greet her husband. A video surfaced online of her later standing next to him and telling a crowd, “Joe, you did such a great job. You answered every question, you knew all the facts.”

We prefer to avoid pointing out the foibles of non-elected members of political families, but there’s a special exception for those who throw themselves so whole-heartedly into the fray.

There are, of course, role models.  Think of Edith Wilson, or Eleanor Roosevelt.  But Dr. Jill is simply in denial.

For just over a year, Edith Wilson took on the duties of the president, following her husband’s stroke, despite the fact that there was a Vice President ready to take over.

A political analysis would ordinarily pose the question “Cui bono?” as in “Who benefits?”

In this case, it’s hard to identify the beneficiaries as anyone other than Biden’s presidential opponent and just about every down-ticket-Republican.

If power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, perhaps it’s time to consider what corruption is occasioned by spousal power.

The Molière Citation is awarded to Dr. Jill Biden, for abuse of her husband in his debilitated state, industrial strength finger-pointing, and also for the political harm she has visited upon the party’s leaders.
