Oh, swell!
This is a challenge: should James Carville receive a Molière Citation or Celebration?
So if you’re a “sweaty Democrat,” you don’t have to worry – or get out to vote.
We’re stumped by this one.
Either Carville is a hero or a traitor or has some other agenda, all of which seems to escape rational divination (at least on our part).
Here’s a theory: He’s still miffed about Joe Biden being subjected to a functional coup, and wants to join the effort to drag the VP under the bus with him. Or maybe it’s because he sees all the gaffes committed by the Harris-Walz campaign team, and feels depreciated because nobody asked him to dance.
There’s just a certain bitterness peeking out from under the “sage” reasons he came to the conclusion that she can win:
” The famous pundit on Wednesday published his prediction in a New York Times column, giving three reasons why he believes Harris will defeat former President Trump at the ballot box. He argued it’s because Trump is on a losing streak, Harris has more money, and lastly, because it’s a “just a feeling” he has.”
Which (if any) of these “reasons” look convincing to you?
For the moment, we’re going to cogitate on it, and withhold any award for now.
But we welcome any responses or suggestions from the ranks of our growing group of readers.
Best wishes from the Molière Citations team — and Don’t forget to VOTE!
