Fox News issued an apology Friday after including Chicago White Sox legend Frank Thomas, who remains “very much” alive and well, in their “In Memoriam” segment earlier that morning.
Frank Thomas, who is very much alive, demanded a correction.
Mark Twain would just have commented that reports of his death were greatly exaggerated.

Of course, after the departure of certain talking heads from the Fox organization, there were reports of the network’s demise. So maybe the sports desk folks at Fox were trying to let others experience the feeling.
We may not know for certain who’s on first, but we do know who’s still on this mortal coil.
