Riley Gaines has been fighting for women, she is pro-woman! This began in 2022 when she competed at the Women’s NCAA Swimming Championships, against a transgender male. She was blindsided that her competition against Will “Lia” Thomas had previously been on the men’s swim team and had switched to the women’s swim team in 2022. Transgender male athletes are showing up more frequently to compete against women athletes and Riley Gaines has been a vocal advocate against these men.
Recently Gaines decided there should be a Real Women’s Day to celebrate biological women, those who possess XX chromosomes. October 10, a day to celebrate Real Women as noted by the Roman numerals X and X, 10th day of the 10th month. Gaines was able to get Congressional members to support this day and legislatively create National Real Women’s Day on the calendar. Rep Lisa McClain posted on her Facebook page, her public support for #RealWomensDay https://www.facebook.com/RepLisaMcClain/posts/1088387476522504/
Senator Marsha Blackburn supported Real Women’s Day and helped to sponsor the bill in Congress.

What is a woman? This was hard for a Supreme Court Judge to define when asked. It really isn’t that difficult and Riley Gaines choice of October 10 or XX day helps remind us that a woman has XX chromosomes.
