Booker sets record for longest Senate speech ever with anti-Trump marathon

Senator Cory Booker gives new meaning to the word “performative” by making a show of his ability to talk for 24 hours without saying anything positive.

In the past, he has referred to himself as a famous “gladiator,” but this time it turns out that he has created a new portmanteau of “flatulence” and “Spartacus.”

History will record the total impact of this stunt to qualify Booker as the guy with the big bladder, and blather to match.

It’s worth noting that there’s virtually no mention of whatever he said, only how long he took to say it.

Normally, this kind of long-winded performance is referred to as a filibuster, but that only occurs for the legislative purpose of stalling the advance of legislation.  Booker has even managed to remove any legislative reason from his mouthy act — there was no pending legislation to hold up. So, yes, Cory Booker had a marathon speech that finally ended today, April 1, 2025, on April Fools’. Dare we say, he showed to be a fool with this grandstand act he performed.

And thereby the seed of the demise of his political party is not only planted but provided with nutrients and water: there’s nothing positive to offer the nation and citizens — only anti-Trump rhetoric and negativity.

Congratulations, NJ Senator Cory Booker, for earning your Molière Citation.

For those of our followers who appreciate the use of AI in formulating prose, we asked for a short, worthy response to Booker’s 24-hour extravaganza, and here’s what we got:

“Brief Statement in Response to Senator Cory Booker’s 24-Hour Speech

While I respect the right of every Senator to speak their mind on the floor of the United States Senate, I must question whether a 24-hour marathon speech by Senator Booker served the interests of the American people—or simply the interests of his own political ambitions. Yes, we admit that Cory Booker has the longest Senate speech on record now, but that begs to help us reflect why?

We are facing real and pressing challenges: inflation is hurting working families, our border remains unsecured, and our international standing is being tested daily. Yet rather than engaging in substantive, bipartisan problem-solving, Senator Booker chose to monopolize the Senate floor with what amounted to a one-man performance piece—long on rhetoric, short on solutions.

Let’s be clear: grandstanding doesn’t move legislation. Soundbites don’t solve problems. The American people are looking for action, not theater. If Senator Booker spent as much time working across the aisle as he does behind a microphone, perhaps we could make real progress.

In the Senate, time is one of our most precious resources. Wasting it on political stunts undermines the very institution we were elected to serve. It’s time to get serious—and get back to work.”

Worth noting that early March 2025, it was recognized that 22 Democrat Senators were replicating the exact same video and posting it on their social media feed. We will spare you the entire hour video of the montage these Senators spewed false narrative information against the Trump administration. Thankfully the compiled video was put together by Insider Wire on X. Elon Musk offered a free CyberTruck to the person that revealed WHO was behind the video script. Senator Cory Booker was forthcoming and quoted on the post responding on March 4, 2025, “Clearly you are triggered by the truth. It was me. Keep the truck.”

Leads us to wonder, what other acts to the play Cory Booker has in store for the American people. Next act will likely take place in about 3 weeks time. Stay tuned for more from this New Jersey Senator, who is trying to remain relevant and continues to be tone deaf to his constituents.
