Does art imitate life, or does life imitate art?
Here’s at least one egomaniac who is obviously confused.
Perhaps Aaron Sorkin has some connection to the ape who was seen walking down the steps of the Library of Congress. He had a Bible under one arm and a copy of Darwin’s “Origin of Species” under the other. Apparently he was trying to figure out whether he was his brother’s keeper or his keeper’s brother.
Today’s Molière Citation is awarded to Aaron Sorkin for the over the top display of hubris in suggesting that he should write the script for the next chapter of the Democratic Party’s Kabuki theater production.
We’re wondering whether he intends to staff the campaign and prospective White House with actors, and will they have to be paid SAG/AFTRA scale salaries?
We must consider the possibility that we have been out-satirized by Mr. Sorkin, in which case we might replace his Citation with a Celebration. 🎉
Stay tuned!
